If part of a tooth has been lost through decay or damaged due to an accident, your dentist can repair it with a filling.

A filling will plug the hole and stop future pain or discomfort. There are a variety of materials, the most common of which are amalgam (silver) and composite (white) although we are increasingly using highly aethetic and strong ceramic fillings made with our CEREC system.  We are the only practice in Harrogate and Knaresborough who are able to offer this technology

Many people opt for white fillings which match the colour of the natural tooth. White fillings are a great way to repair teeth without spoiling their appearance, and can also be used to improve the appearance of badly shaped and  ‘gappy’ teeth.

Larger cavities are best restored using all ceramic fillings made using our unique CEREC system. These give the ideal combination of great aesthetics and strength for long lasting restorations
