Hello everyone,
We’re missing you! It reminds us how lucky we are to be able to provide dental care for you and how much we enjoy seeing you for your regular visits – many of you for the last 27 years!
It is a strange time and normal things like looking after ourselves and especially our teeth can seem less important, when of course the opposite is true.
- So please do keep up with your usual home dental care routine – maybe even try flossing or using the special brushes for in-between the teeth
- If you have been seeing us for a while, and taking advantage of our preventive programme with the hygiene team, your dental health will be good and this will carry you through until we see you again.
- It is also good for your general health to keep your mouth in good shape and will reduce the chance of dental problems caused by increased snacking.
No lecturing here – there’s definitely a place for letting ourselves have some treats to help us through! If you want to have the treat and minimise the risk though, save the treats for immediately after a meal, not in between. Fewer sugar hits means less activity of the bacteria that cause tooth decay and if you want to be really good, make it up to your teeth by trying that flossing after all…..
